Netell Photography bio picture
  • Welcome to my blogsite!

  • Hi! I'm Netell- wife to an amazing husband, mother to 3 industrious boys and one little lady, pediatric nurse, and photog. I joke that photography is my addiction, but truly, it is. It is a way for me to see the world, and the people in my life, in such a way that I never before thought possible. I love what I do, and do what I love.

Meet Mr. B.  Handsome actually doesn’t even begin to describe him.

I decided to do something different this year.  Instead of resolutions that would be nearly impossible to keep (really, can I lose 100 lbs by our family photo session in June? …didn’t think so), I decided to set 3 attainable goals in 3 aspects of my life.  Today I share with you one of my goals. For my business, I will blog at least once a quarter.  Don’t laugh-for me blogging is a big deal because I am terrible with technology , not funny at all unless I’m being completely inappropriate and honestly, not the best writer.  As of today, I am checking the 1st quarter of 2012 off that list and it feels awesome! Huge thanks to Angie Monson with her A-mazing templates to make that goal a little easier.

The main event of this post?  I had the adventure and opportunity of photographing the handsome Mr. B and his beautiful family.  The girls were delightful-I wish I had an audio recording of the session because they captured my heart with the little things they would say to each other.  Their handsome little brother (and yes, they call him handsome at home I was told), was seriously a champ.  At 4 weeks old, he’s got some hefty life experiences in his back pocket.  If I were a seasoned blogger, at this point I would write that I will soon be posting oodles of pictures featuring just him and his perfect tiny parts-his lips (he’s mastered the pucker so ladies watch out), his hands (who doesn’t love hand dimples?), his little wrinkly feet, and his captive eyes, but there are no promises.

Until next quarter.
